[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This little creature was making its way across a memorial stone -- the colours simply caught my eye.
Because the ground was wet, and I was in business dress, I had to hold the camera close to the creature and shoot blindly -- it took only three shots to capture this one -- luck was with me |

You got an amazing focus on this little fellow, Silke!
I like its strong position within a natural frame.
The color contrast between the snail and the cemented BG is marvelous.
A great capture!
Best regards,
Paras
I don't know what that trail is behind it ... yuck ... but a very good 'blind' shot, sharpness and composition came out spot-on on this effort.
Hello Silke
I like the DOF, but the blue pepples in the image create a great study. Sometimes I think shooting from the hip gives POV's you might have not composed in the first place. I bet this was a pleasant suprise. nice

Ohhhhhh~ I missed this little guy!....nice close shot and I love the orange ground or table he is crawling on! Adds lots of warmth and color to the shot! The diagonal works well but I love how you broke up all the "orange warmth" with the few blue cool bits in the BG! Nice texture!
