Dear All,

A different kind of shots from my side :), at least in the last days as I have posted floral pictures.

This is a shot I took from Green Iguana in the Zoo when it was taking rest, may be fed of the visitors coming to see it often. I took just few shots to get the detailed texture of its mysterious skin. It even changed it color to green before I started taking pictures. It was amazing!

This was an indoor shot and I opted for higher ISO numbers in order to get better quality by lesser noise in the picture.

Hope you like it.

Kind regards,

Paras

Hi Paras

Quite a change in color, saturation & texture from the flowers! The profiled view of the lizard works well and sharpness is impeccable. Tfs!

Great shot . Beautiful colors and details .regards Zoran

Not the most beautiful creature on earth but you make it look its best here photographically speaking Paras , quite an impressive reptile appreciated in such a close-up , you have managed the light very well for an indoor photo, my only niggle is the focus appears set a couple cms short of the eye itself but the iguana stands out with great clarity i reckon , the lack of noise has resulted in acquiring some rermarkable definition here , considering the use of a low speed/wide aperture it is certainly is an outstanding capture my friend .
Have a pleasant week,
Carol

Hi Paras,
For me this is a monster! I will never be able to capture a photo of this horrible creature! A very sharp close-up of this Green Iguana with such sharp details despite the ISO 640!
An interesting POV and a nice pose from this horrible creature.

Good Evening Paras.

There are many treats on offer here tonight with some special images posted, but none more so than this excellent capture. I am amazed at the amount of detail on show here, every scale, crisp, clear and full of tone. The light you had was a dear friend to you, it illuminates i a way that it throws the subject out at you.
An instant Fave, thankyou. TFS

Stv :0))

Awesome capture of this iguana! Their armor skin make them look so formidable. Sharp details and great lighting. Wonderful colors. Well done, tfs.

Hardly a beautiful creature but highly interesting with so many types of skin. When I visited the zoo the low light was problematic and when I opted for higher ISO the grain increased perceptably. Perfectly exposed wit no trace of grain. The definition, clarity and colour are excellent.
regards
David

How many textures & colour hues does this creature have? and you have caught all of them, with sharp details & clarity Paras Very well taken indeed.

I'm slightly confused, when you mention in your notes that you
opted for a higher ISO in order to get better quality,by lesser noise in the picture? It is my understanding that one uses the lowest ISO setting to achieve this? Definately not a critique of your image,it's first rate, but more a critique of your statement.
Best Regards
Ron

Hi Paras,
Incredible texture and designs on the iguana's "armor" captured so well that we can admire every single little detail. Excellent colors, sharpness and DOF.
It's very unfortunate that so many of these poor humble creatures are kept as pets in homes, so far off from their natural habit and so many times left to die due to poor assistance.
I trust that this one was luckier even though it's living in captivity.
TFS
