[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Good Morning All,

On a sunny day, I captured this poppy emerging from nowhere, a place where you won't really think any flower may come out.

A solo poppy enjoying the warmth of the midday sun. This wild poppy flower was young and healthy and it was blooming to its best, especially when the sunlight was kissing its petals gently. Insects were having a good time searching for their lunch too. Life looked so busy on this red island :)

I don't know whether I succeeded in capturing the mood I wanted to convey through this shot and therefore, I will leave this decision to you :)

Thank you for stopping by!

Greetings,

Paras

Hi Paras.

With a few hundred small seeds ready to escape each year, somehow they travel and somehow they appear in the strangest of places.

You have captured a wonderful colour basking in the full light, looks like the bugs are taking a rain check too. Nice broken backdrop adding much to the attraction here, well seen. tfs

Hi Paras,
That's a great Nature shot...plenty of activities! These insects navigating on the lovely back lit poppy are creating an action shot!
A splendid bokeh BG.
Well done for the sharpness and neatness of this presentation.
Regards,

Francis Xavier

We already have shared this transparency.
You call the flower "island".
The attendance of the younger guests.
The slender flower and his solitary presence.

I can feel those little bugs crawling on my skin! Awesome capture with good lighting and dof with nice details. Wonderful colors. Well done, tfs.

I lke your dof with the fg petals in focus and the bg ones lesser so. Backlit petals are always so pretty and the insects provide a good contrast. I think you succeeded :-)
regards
David
