Lovely reflection shot Paras, this is a good example of a featureless sky working well to silhouette the winter trees.

The square format also works well.

Hello Paras,

Though the reflection in the water immediately catches the viewers' eyes, I think the real "force of winter" lies in the upper part of your photo. In the purity and the emptiness that reign over there, thanks to the almost white (but not washed-out) sky that makes the trees really pop out in all their nakedness.

In that sky, I just would have cloned out the small twig near to the right border. A detail though...

Hi Paras.

Mistletoe....christmas without kissing, a parasite indeed but never seems to harm the host in any way. The seeds get stuck to birds feet and its propagated like this in nature.

A dank day with overtones of mist and moisture.
I like the stillness of water and its corresponding reflections.

Hello Paras, the soft light is what I really like here.The balls of mistletoe add pattern to the composition, and as you suggest in the title, they do look like beads.
A good square presentation with lovely natural colours.

Hi Paras,

The reflections on the water of the pond are assets to the scene. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the trees and of the bunches of parasitic. The light has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Reminds me a little of Korea. In summer you wouldn't see any bird's nests at all on account of all the green foliage, but in winter it's a different story as depicted here. Good graphism, reflections & sharpness. Tfs!

Hi Paras,
Glad you liked the bateleur eagle photo. Just had a look at your portfolio and notice that many of your otherwise excellent shots are flawed by a sligh "out-of-focus.3 I'm wondering what that is due to. In any case, this photo from the standpoint of composition, sharpness, and colors is outstanding.
Hope you don't mind my candid remarks.
