[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Dear All,

This is another capture of the famous Katharinenkirche (Katharine Church) located in the heart of German city of Oppenheim.

I thought to give the church a rather natural frame in the form of old walls of "Burg Landskron" which was built in 13th century.

In this shot I tried to get an optimum exposure in order to avoid any OE on the church as well as preserving the original colors of the blue sky which could be sometimes tricky to achieve I feel.

Nice composition, natural frame works well. I think the bright sun is taking away the charm. Just my two bit opinion. I enjoyed the photo. Thanks for sharing.

Good use of the archway to frame this beautiful scene. I like the lighting, coming from the side and creating long shadows. Nice details and wonderful colors. Well done, tfs.

I have alway though having a stone frame for a landscape or an old bulding give some romantic atmosphere

I love the framing of this pretty town and its colourful church by the stone window. Your exposure is spot on with a good dof and sharp details. I always seem to have problems with shots such as these. Where do you take your exposure from to avoid too much shadow in the foreground or OE in the sky?
