a very distictive character,shot in galway city,he was playing uilleann pipes,these pipes differ from scottish bagpipes,instead of blowing a small bellows are usually used between the upper left arm,and is played similar to the bagpipes using a chanter,the uilleann pipes have a very sweeter sound than the bagpipes i am sorry to my scottish cousins,the gaelic word uilleann means island hence the island pipes, |
