Moody shot, Silvio.

The harsh, contrasting light gives additional atmosphere to the misty street.
I like the small lens flare just to the left of the woman and slight chromatic aberration just beside the drain which adds a tiny splash of colour to the shot.

I notice a ghostly looking shadow directly beneath the woman's arm too, which again adds a mystery and eeriness to the shot.
I'd be happy with this if I'd taken it.

Hi Silvio,
What a distinctive presentation depicting a great light source. An awesome contre-jour capture with nice play with shadows and highlights. A rather monochromatic presentation.
An original approach to this weekend theme.

Super shot Silvio, it caught my eye from the thumbnail. I love the way the ray of light is cast across the cobblestones. Good POV, looking up the road at the woman but we cannot see what she is doing or what is behind her because of the shadow. This adds much mystery to the image. I like the vertical framing, allowing us to see the detail of the cobbles as well as the lines in the paving. The drain cover acts as a good lead in for the eye. Lots of atmosphere with the b/w and great addition to this weeks theme.

Hi Sivio, tell me the name of the movie - thats what reminds me of your excellent shot mystic, moody atmosphere - I am just waiting that a hand reach out of nowhere to grab the woman.

Your snapshot reminded me Christmas season of two years ago when I visited Pisa and Firenze. Misty atmosphere is looking interesting and excellent use of a passing by person to add life. Fantastic idea for the theme my friend, well done. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Silvio.

Lets hope more will pick up on this superb capture and try this themselves. Its a wonderful capture, the mood and tones used are so dramatic, especially the lucid ouitline of a person and the brightness of light obliterating all. Stunning.
