Flavonius quercus

Linnaeus 1758

Nome Volgare: Tecla della quercia

Famiglia: Lycaenidae

Lunghezza ala anteriore mm. 16-19

Distribuzione: tutta Europa oltre a Nordafrica e Asia temperata, in tutta l’Italia.

Piante nutrici: Quercus robur, Quercus cerris, Quercus pubescens, Quercus petrea.

Beautiful! I like your buterfly series, I wish I can photograph more butterfly unfortunately we don't have butterfly house within driving distance. Good lighting and dof with sharp details. Well done, tfs.

Great colour, great light, great focus, splendid sharpness, amazing.

Ciao

DAvid

pS. Pity the butterfly is looking the OTHER way and I can't see it's eyes........

Hello Silvio, where do you find all these beautiful butterflies? And you must have tremendous patience.
A very shallow DoF which allows us to see the important parts in good sharp focus.
Lovely colours too.
Tfs, regards Jean.

What a lovely Nature's scene with such amazing light and exposure, Silvio!
Great sharpness and POV are well done, and colors are natural.
Well kept contrasts and clarity in this scene.

Ciao,

Hello Silvio :)

This composition looks fantastically, and the green background underlines shapes and butterfly and plant colours magnificently.
Beautiful, natural colours and light, perfect realization and very showy!

Best wishes...Barbara.

Hi Silvio,

The flowers are helping to frame the butterfly. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the Purple Hairstreak butterfly. The good luminosity is making the colors to stand out. Have a nice day.

Pierre

Hello Silvio
Perfect sharpness on the butterfly with good use of a shallow dof. Excellent color & saturation and well composed. I like the warm cold colour contrast between the blue & yellow green. Tfs!
