Complimenten, John! Het PoV is perfect hier, de brug trekt ons zo mee naar de overkant - maar onderweg komen we die mooie gondel tegen.
Ik ben onder de indruk: op 10 mm zie ik geen vertekening. Die antennes naast de toren zijn door het downsizen haast niet meer te herkennen, dus die zou ik even wegclonen. Voor de rest: chapeau!

Very nice POV of this famous bridge.
I recognize the blue and green post on the right.
We had a glass of wine sitting outside a small cafe less than 100 metres from this bridge (towards the markets), large glass of Chianti 1.50 euro.

Nicely eyecatching shot, with a wonderful element of lead-in from the left with that sweeping bridge (the half-tourist down by the water notwithstanding.)

I love how the eye is drawn into the buildings across the water, placed perfectly at the upper 1/3rd of the frame.

Hi John,

First I want to say that I like very much your angle to Ponte Rialto, unusual, because most of the touristic photos present a frontal image of this famous bridge, maybe took from a boot on the Canal Grande of from a more distance. A photo with a very good quality.

I know the wood toy store from the bridge, because every time when we was there Christian wanted to go and see it ... and as result, now we have a musical Pinocchio at home. :-)

P.S. I'm still thinking in which way we'll post my favorite photo from Venice, sometimes I think it's very difficult to capture the special atmosphere of this town and I'm not satisfied by them.

Hi John. Excellent perspective of the bridge and well timed to have the gondola positioned where it is. Colours are good. It is one place i'd love to visit. One of the tallest towers in Melbourne, Australia is called the Rialto. The builders were from Italy originally, now we see why. TFS. Murray.

hi John

Venice is really a place to showcase the canals and boat. You have capitalized on this advantage and chosen a good arch bridge of fine architecture to compose a good view across the waterway. I like the covered bridge as a key feature to span diagonally over the canal.
