Ciao Silvio!
Splendido controluce. Perfetta e totale messa a fuoco. Meravigliosi colori brillanti e uno sfondo da favola!
Bellissima, Silvio, complimenti.
Ciao! Vanda

Ciao Silvio,
Beautiful caught of view of this lovely butterfly,
Excellent details and sharp presentation with amazing colors ,
good contrast and light in an excellent bokeh..

Ciao Silvio

Hi Silvio,
Another of your patented butterfly shots. I could tell who did this without checking the poster's name. I wonder how you managed to get so many while I have never been able capture even one properly in the wild! All the butterflies that I have photographed were in enclosed areas and they were all captive.

Boa noite mio caro amico Silvio,

Fascinating composition with a wondrful butterfly, great focus and light.

Beautiful back light to showcase this beautiful moth/butterfly and also good exposure value. Details excellent. Nice job

HI Silvio..nice shot...perfect focus with great tones and color. Nice work.

Ciao Silvio

Superb back-lighting through the wafer thin wings of the butterfly that gives them a translucent look. Perfect sharpness & the shallow oof bg helps to isolate & emphasise the butterfly. Good colour & saturation. Tfs!

Hi Silvio,
The back lighting is helping you to such an awesome macro of this splendid butterfly! Perfect sharpness and a lovely tight crop.
Accurate details on the insect against a superb bokeh BG.
Well done for this neat work.

The colors of butterfly wings are enhanced by light passing through, you chose an excellent pov and good timing too.
The bg is harmonious, I admire the patience of the photographer of butterflies, this is a quality that I have not.

The moth is on its stomach isn't it? And up near its head, its feet can be seen. No one has pointed this and i'm thinking maybe i'm mistaken!
Excellent pov. These insects are usually shot from backside, as their wings are generally considered to be more attractive. But this image is great. Though insects have not pleasant countenance, you have arranged the composition very well. TFS.

bravissima Silvio
Love the focus and the light.
um abraço

Bonsoir Sylvio,

As usual, splendid butterfly image like very few can achive. I gave it a try last weekend and I am quite disapointed of my result. I do have a long way to go before being able to compare with yours. I may never... Excellent work and TFS.

Hi Silvio,
WOW, you achieved great results with this backlit butterfly. Love the shallow DOF and superb bokeh.

Hi, Silvio. What a lovely composition and a great POV to capture the beauty of this butterfly. The creative cropping and DOF add to the effect. Photo is sharp, well exposed and the colors are brilliant. Framing and presentation is excellent and add to the beauty. Cheers.

Love the semi-transparent wings of this beautiful Red-band Fritillary butterfly with amazing light and exposure, Silvio!

Great sharpness and well clarity with nice natural colors and clarity.
The low POV is promising and your choice is excellent I feel.
The DOF is well done, and focus is spot on.
Nice work!
