|The Sardinian Anglo-Arab horse is a breed reared in Sardinia for about a century. Arises from the intersection of indigenous horses Sardinian smaller (Sarcidano Horse, Horse of the Jar) with Arabian horses in turn crossed with thoroughbred English . A major contribution to the improvement of the breed you must deposit the establishment in 1874 of the Royal stallions of Sardinia.|
The race was created for the needs of the weapon of the cavalry of the Italian Army. The Sardinian Anglo-Arab horse is used mainly for racing speed and jumping, but also for cross country and horse riding.
