Well, this isn't the kind of portrait I like, unfortunately. I have to be honest about that. Here is why I don't really like it: I always say that the model should stand out from the background but here you overdid it. The model has to stand out but still be a part of the same picture as the BG but here I feel like they are not interacting at all. Second, the lighting is a bit conventional, it is practically head on and this avoids shadows which I think are good for portraits, especially if the background is black. Shadows create moods, they tell a story that the viewer is interested in hearing but here I hear nothing. Technically speaking this is well done. The lighting is clear and helps to make out the details, the model is centered to show his whole upper body and the pov is in front to clearly show everything. And in that sense you did a good job, though all those points take away the art from the photo. What I feel is that it is a bit dry. Like you didn't give it a personal touch. Nothing to define you or what the model is all about except his expression which I feel isn't enough, especially because the sunglasses hide his eyes and in portraits eyes tend to speak to us the most. It is a good conventional photo but I feel it is missing art, and the artistic side of every photo is what makes it attractive. I'm sorry for this review. Obviously it is just my opinion and many may disagree with me. Just an opinion!

Cool photo!
