A quick 4 hour trip to Monaco from my hotel in Nice. Just had time to pick a spot on the hillside overlooking the harbour and city... The image is possibly a little small the way I've framed it here -but it gives you an idea of the place with the hills surrounding what is the second smallest country in the world after Vatican City.

Very little PP from the RAW image of 20 seconds, f20 and ISO100.

Very beautiful panorama !
A larger version would help and I think that the format allows you to upload one

Hi David

Ah Monaco, the playground of the rich & famous. A superb high pov with good sharpness & a nice warm cold colour contrast between the yellow & blue. Impeccable sharpness & the wide angled frame suits perfectly. Tfs!

Hi David,
A beautiful nocturnal presentation using the blue hour of Monaco. A very sharp image with perfect details. I like the panoramic format enclosed in this white tight frame.
A fine postcard of the Monaco.

Hello David,
That's a wonderful twilight catch. Excellent details and fine tuned luminosity. Exciting presentation in panoramic window. Well done. Thanks for sharing.
Best Wishes,

Bonjour David,

Splendid image with an excellent clarity in détails and exposure. Beautifull management of the blue light and the warm lights. Excellent subject for that panoramic format. It would look impressive in a Large Post (LP) version. Great work and TFS

Hi David, this is a beautiful shot, the amount of detail still visible at that distance is great. This would look great blown up. Fiona

Hi David,
perfect exposure and a good choice of PoV. I would have preferred it with a smaller border so we could see more of the detail - it looks quite spectacular

Bom dia David.
Impressive POV and narrow DOF. The white framing fonctions very well. Elegant view.
Excellent postcard.

Very nice (pardon the pun) night shot David, something I have had very little success with.
It appears to have lots of detail, would you consider posting as a Panorama?
Thanks for your comment on the Harvard. There was a large dust bunnie on all my shots that day.
I cloned it out but not too well.
I have a cataract in my remaining eye, and I just don't se anything of low contrast.

Wow, that's an impressive view. Love the time of day ... your favorite! The hint of color left in the sky, and in the buildings and boats is nice... as is the twinkle of the lights... especially the row of lights on the hillside. Nice shallow crop.
Nice to see you posting again :)

Hi David,
a beautiful panorama of the famous place. The Casions and Yachts - in my dreams! I like the warm colors in this one.

Beautiful evening shot of this world famous municipality. Love the sharp details and wonderful colors. Very well done, tfs.
