|King Nicholas I of Montenegro's monument, located in the center of Podgorica, Montenegro.|
He gave Montenegro it's first constitution in 1905 following pressure from a population eager for more freedom and in 1906 he introduced Montenegrin currency, The Perper. He reigned from 13 August 1860 to 26 November 1918 (1860—1910 as Prince and 1910-1918 as King)
