[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the new tower in Almelo. It is named the Java Tower. I live pretty close to it, and the first few days I had to get used to the blue light. Now when peope ask: "Where do you live?" I just tell them near the blue light.

This picture was taken on a cold night with a thick overcast. I liked the combination of the blue light and the reflection of the city light in the overcast.

PP: saturation, less brightness and added contrast. Framed

Hi Niek, you never have trouble finding your way home then ! Great photograph, it is weird to see this blue light, good nightshot though.

Mooie opname. Heel mooi dat licht. Toren had iets uit het midden mogen staan.

super photo! unusual and strange!
I like it!

In Almelo is altijd wat te doen ... ( H. Finkers ).
Mooie plaat, misschien moet je deze eens maken, vlak voordat het helemaal donker is . Je krijgt dan meer doortekening in de gebouwen. Wel een iets langere sluitertijd houden, zodat je het Almelose blauwe licht blijft behouden.
Groetjes Giuseppe.

Great shot on a difficult to shoot subject. Personally, I like the space at the top even though I am sure others will tell you to follow certain guidelines. I say, do what you think is best and then make it better later. Great write up, too.
Keep shooting,

Hi Niek.
Great unusual shot.I like that intensive or mystical blue color.
Well done

Hi Niek,

Beautiful light... amazing colours, well worked and well observed!
Is easy to arrive to your home ;-)

The blue light contrasts nicely against the dark sky Niek, and the foggy atmosphere further adds to the unusual (and appealing) result.
