[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It's a very corny and cliche topic to photograph but sometimes my dog sleeps so peacefully and lovely that I cannot resist to shoot a photo of him. When I look at him at this picture I wish I enjoyed sleeping as much as he does!
We named the dog Storm, because his character is a bit stormy, but looking at this picture the Storm is over :)

Quelle belle vie de chien....le repos du guerrier!!!

Hi, Merel! Great shot of your pooch! Good colors, great perspective, crisp and sharp - just very pleasant! And...I love your title! :)

Good job!

I thought at first you were going to say your dog is afraid of storms, and since this one passed by, he could again relax and sleep! One of my dogs becomes "Velcro dog" when there's thunder -- sticks right with me wherever I go in the house. If it gets too bad, she crawls under the bed.

I just want to bury my face in Storm's warm fur and give him a hug. Labs are such great dogs.

Oh, and about the photo...LOL! I like it! The perspective is fun and everything's bright and crisp. I could take or leave the chairs, but I know sometimes you just deal with background stuff because the subject is too good to miss.

Very cute shot, he looks very comfortable in the grass.

cool image!
i like your dog in his pose!!
very good capture ,Merel

This is a really nice portrait of your dog Storm. Love the name. Very sharp image. The colours are also very good.

This one is soooo lovely :)

Unfortunatelty I don't have a dog, but pictures like this are almost as good as owing one.

Guzzy, wat lief!
Een hele mooie foto, vanuit een mooie hoek genomen. De titel is erg orgineel.

The point of vue is very nice! The dog is so cute! Great shot

A perfect capture with a very good DoF, Merel. Storm has a very gentle look, but I imagine he can be very energetic in his play as well.
What you could do to make the picture even better is : select both the grass and Storm, copy it to a new layer, then select the bottom layer and apply a Gaussian blur. IMO 1 - 1.5 should suffice, this way the background would become less prominent.
Enjoy TL.

HAHAHA! This is SOOO funny to me! We had a dog like this and she would just pass out in the sunshine...you could sneak up on her and scare her! Great shot Merel!

Is this Labrador Retriver? If yes, please add him to my theme.
Your model is very sweet.
Have a nice New Year
