Zuiderzee museum choir

A portrait of the male singers of the Zuiderzee museum choir who performed on the square of the little museum village. These singer gave a wonderful performance and were dedicated to their volunteer job.

Anyway took this close up and had to do some pp work like adjusting levels and curves and removing some OE spots on the man's jacket and his hair. Converted to Black&White to create a kind of retro effect.

BTW Zuiderzee is the previous sea, which is now known as IJsselmeer (IJssel lake) and Markermeer (Lake Marken)

I could have increased the ISO (but forgot) this explains the relative low shutter speed (1/50 sec) and large aperture of f/5.6. Nevertheless the DOF appears good enough as far as I'm concerned.

Hi Hans,
I like the balance in this composition. A very good illustration of the thirds rule. More than, the B&W conversion is really the best choice to present this subject. Great acuity and light. Bravo! Annie
