Although I am not a huge fan of cold temperatures, I am looking forward for this to return. The current rain and grey sky is getting to me, especially on these days of.
Earlier this year, we did have the luck of real winter weather. One day I drove to a wooded area well known for its natural lakes. Here I strolled around for a while search for the right spot to capture a nice sunset. Unfortunately I was never able to find that perfect location and had to do with a quick dash to this single tree. There was never going to be a spectacular sunset, but luckily there was still some color in the sky.
Some tech talk: Tripod, hotshoe spirit level, remote, 0.9 grad ND, gloves, hat, sturdy boots and water proof winter clothing.
Adjustments made in PP on levels, curves, usm. |

This deserves far more points than you've been awarded. Textbook composition - foreground tree one third in from left, horizon one third from bottom, sharp image, and gorgeous blue colours.
