Hello Roger, I don't know how, but this shot is so 3-dimensional.
There are so many textures here which seem emphasised by the b/w.
A good idea to include the man on the quay.Your enthusiasm for this place comes across so well.

Love the color tones you have awarded to this picture as they bring a 'timeless' feeling and great depth into the shot, Roger!

Details of the rocky hills are amazing and against the water channel they look even more charming and pleasing.
The light and exposure are well handled and low POV worked very well here.

Hello Roger,
An amazing image that looks somewhat like a charcoal drawing. I looked hard to find something to criticise it by, but I really have no sugegstions for improvement. Even the water's edge across the middle of the image does not detract. If this were mine it would definitely be up on the wall. Would be interesting to know whether you did some PP. An excellent piece of photo art. Well done.

It's got a painting feel to it, very nice. This must be a really nice place and a calm bay. Laking a little bit of contrast, maybe? Not sure. TFS
