[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This photo was taken at Mærrapanna on an overcast day this summer.
Good light is the key to getting properly exposed photos but the sun doesn't necessarily have to shine brightly.
Mærrapanna Beach
Mærrapanna, Fredrikstad - Norway
Mærrapanna is one of several beach areas that lie to the west of Fredrikstad city centre and are fairly easily accessible by the car. There is a long stretch of sandy beach here. The seascape here can often be dramatic. There are moorings for boats here, toilet facilities, and tables and benches suitable for picnics. There is a children’s playground. Bathing steps lead down to the water. |

I like teh lower POV you have opted for in this picture, Janak!
The textures on the rocks (in the FG) are so beautifully shown. Great colors and perfect DOF.
The water provides great energy into the work.
Well done!
Greetings,
Paras

Hello
Merveilleux mouvement de l'eau avec le blanc de l'écume qui se contraste avec le brun des rochers, superbe.
bravo et amitié
Nicou
The details in the foreground and the big splash is so well registered, Janak. Nice angle and good land/sky division in the framing. Thanks for sharing and have a nice day - Jusni
Hello Janak,
Oh, I like this!
There is so much inferred movement from the rushing, breaking waves.
There is fine, sharp contrast between the hard, firmness of the wet rocks and fluididity of the incoming waves.
Have a good w/e,
Bev :-)
