Thought I had to show a picture of our cat now that she has grown up to be a real mouse hunter!

Hey, there are not too many decent cat shots here on the site, but this one truly is a good one! Nicely composed and technically sound, it benefits from a great subject. Maybe a tiny bit underexposed. I could see how this cat could be a good mouse hunter, it looks very determined. Not the cat I'd like to tease... The background works very well. Did you blur it in post-processing?

This is a very nice picture of your cat. The background is terrific and I love her pose. Good job!

looks like cheshire cat from disney. I can almost imaging its razor sharp teeth. my imagination is running wild I digress. anyway simply perfect. you know what you are doing and so no need for any technical praises. bravo. and lovely lovely cat you got there.

Dear Helga,

This cat should be a professional model. I could not believe she is actually posing for the camera (in the snow too). The grays and whites of the snowy background work nicely with the cat's coloring. She is a gorgeous cat! Well done with the shot. I do think that it could have been cropped somewhat to eliminate some of the top portion of the photo. Nonetheless, it's a good pet photo.
Regards, Lisa

Hi Helge,

An excellent cat photo. Very sharp and I like the slight blurring of the background. Composition is good too, the cat's placement is excellent. She's definitely a cat that mice need to be fearful of.
