[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It was typical autumn sky in the morning when I took off from Oslo and allotted seat 6F on Boeign 737-800. Right after seat belt sign was turned off and electronics were allowed to use, I took this shot. The question remained in my mind, why "no" represents Norway and why not NR or NW or NK? Any ideas?

Salam Inaam,

This is a nice capture where you chose a interesting POV with amazing cloud formation.
The clarity is nice and I don't see any OE which is not that easy to avoid in such mid-air capture.
Like the color tones and sharpness in the picture.

About your doubts about domain of Norway:

IMO, 'NK' is not feasible to award to Norway as there is absence of 'K' in the country name, whereas 'NR' is the the country domain code of 'Island of Nauru'. NW possibly stands for NorthWest :-)

Hope to answer to questions :-)

Best regards,

I suppose it's always the first two letters in the name of the country. eg.
Canada .ca, Deutschland .de, Hungary .hu and so on.Nice picture above the clouds! T>Y> Janos

Another fine capture from the airplane's window, Inaam.
Perfect sharpness and beautiful color saturation.
Nice details in the clouds and glorious lighting. You were lucky enough to have such a clean window!
My best regards,

Francis Xavier

Very nice capture, I'm glad you included part of the airplane. Love the light hitting part of the cloud formation it give the photo some depth. Well done, tfs.
