Some dry and desolated landscape of the valley during summer time.
Hard to imagine but this year it all turned green. The last 5 years there wasn´t enough water.
I somehow like the drama of the scenery.
Thanks for looking.

Greetings Karin,
I like your inclusion of the dramatic looking tree in the foreground,it adds scale & punch to this landscape.Well seen & taken.

Regards
Ron

Hi Karin, I cannot believe that this was green this year. What a desolate looking place! I like how you have the tree taken from the corner as it guides the eyes right into the photo. Interesting tree that is very dramatic. Lisa

Amazing image, very well shot indeed , excellent comp , and great tones through out , perfect title also , it reminds me of a still from the movie, The hills have eyes , very well done indeed TFS

Nice strong dramatic shot Cheeta,

The leading dead tree coming from the bottom-left corner towards center is a great subject and the scenery where it lands is harsh and dry; the background peak is where the eye goes after looking at the fallen tree, a peak that looks iconic thanks to all this environment and atmosphere created.

A great image.

Hi, Karin. It is a dramatic landscape with perspective with well balanced composition. Good low POV with the contrast adding to the overall effect. Cheers and TFS.

Bonjour Karin
Un paysage dramatique et magnifique, une belle composition en diagonale et les couleurs de la menace et de la désolation.
Une photo qui a du chien.
Bonne journée
Henri

Hi Karin

Looks like outback Australia. The dead tree in the gully on a diagonal axis, adds good dynamism & lead in lines, as well as a nice graphic element. Tfs!

Hello Karin,

Very interesting. The colour and light work quite well.

Siddhartha
