|Beautiful and historical city of Toledo, inhabited since the bronze age and a place of coexistence for Christian, Jewish and Islamic cultures through ages.|
The high structure seen in the middle is The Alcázar of Toledo is a stone fortification located in the highest part the town. Once used as a Roman palace in the 3rd century, it was restored in 1540. Toledo is famous for its swords and gold and silver inlay work. During the middle ages, every knight of any standing had to have a Toledo sword.
The river in FG is the Tagus river, which flows in to Atlantic at Lisbon after a very long journey.
It is a very interesting small town to wander around, something different to see around every corner.
This was a difficult shot to make as the light was very harsh at midday. Tried all sorts of combinations to get the light and shadows correct and then had to enhance the sky in Photoshop to bring some blue back.

A splendid panorama of Toledo adorned with lovely sunlight. A lovely POV including the bridge and the historical structure. Good light management and perfect details on the bridge and the water. A considerable depth into the perspective.
Very neat work.
