|Another view of the chimneys at Casa Batllo in Barcelona.|
At every turn there are lovely designs and an amazing attention to detail.
One has to wonder why one would go to the trouble of decorating some chimneys so meticulously, but that in my opinion is the genius of Antoni Gaudi's work.
Thanks for looking.

A nice sharp shot of these beautiful chimneys, framed by a fantastic blue sky.
Here in Canada the majority of chimneys are purely functional in design. In the uk there are many varied chimneys although they are not coloured like these. If mundane things like chimneys could be nicely designed and coloured it would change the face of the landscape. Just imagine the cooling towers in the Uk with different colours on - or would that be a little much?
I recognize the green ornaments on the roof top from a couple of days ago. I like its inclusion in your shot to produce some contrast. The chimneys look especially nice against that lovely blue sky. TFS
Excellent clarities and details...just like been there
BRAVO JEAN DWYER
