It is difficult to describe the feeling one gets when you walk into the cathedral that is La Sagrada Familia, in Barcelona.
For me, it was breath taking and for once I was at a loss for words!
And that is why I have titled this shot..'In awe'
And also why I wanted to include all the visitors who were enjoying the experience too.

Still in the process of being built! The building work goes on, and the visitors are helping to pay for the work as they visit. The goal is for it to be completed by 2020, if I am not mistaken.
Thanks for looking.

Hi Jean.

In awe indeed, such a stunning view, your choice of position and angle makes for an amazing capture. You cant help but have the eyes become drawn up to the apex. Very special shot Jean.

Stv ;0))

Ciao Jean, great view of fantastic architecture, splendid light, wonderful colors and fine details, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

I would be too! The interior design of this cathedral is magnificient! Nice placement of the windows as well as the stained glass windows. Good lighting in spite of using only available light. Very well done, tfs.

Bonjour Jean
An impressive architecture .. This is one of the places I want to visit one day ... This is a monumental work ..
A beautiful light made by a good exposure..TFS
Robert :-)

I like the effect you have achieved in this indoor location, Jean!

The light and exposure are well balanced, and colors are natural.
Good contrasts and nice view of the daily life scene.
If I were you I might have tried to fully include the people (in FG) just my personal opinion.

Have a nice weekend.

Thanks and regards,

Hi Jean,
An impressive shot of this iconic building. I have only seen this from outside with the scaffoldings so this helps to understand.

Hi Jean...this shot has a nice point of view and perspective. The light is great coming through the windows and creates a nice atmosphere.
