'Casa Mila' or 'La Pedrera', this is a view across the rooftop of this amazing building.
Gaudi designed a property with basement, ground floor, five floors of flats, attic and walkable roof terrace. In the basement, the architect put one of the first parking areas for automobiles in Barcelona.

The shapes that you see are chimneys and the tops of the stairwells.
Below on the wall are windows, very important to Gaudi's designs, as he liked to have as much light in all the rooms as possible.
The day that we visited was very busy with lots of visitors taking shots, just like ourselves! So it was not easy to manage a shot without at least one or two people there; but there again, they add scale!

Thanks for looking.

Olá Jean,
I already knew some segments of this terrace, mainly pots chimneys which was an entry of you for one of the Themes of Friday.
This today is a broader view, but as well done as the previous one.
Have a nice Sunday.
R.

Hi Jean,
Beautiful ultra modern sculptures bearing the name of Antoni Gaudi. A very sharp image adorned with such nice diffused lighting. The small windows below are enhancing this architectural structure.
Well done,

Francis Xavier

Hi Jean

Good to see this in its entirety & that adds context. All of the previous images I've seen of this, zoom in on the 3 tan sculptures. Good sharpness, the person adds scale & a pleasant diffused light. Tfs!

Hi Jean,
Well you managed to bring out this unique archetecture to perfection.Good exposure bringing out the sandy colours to perfection. The tourists do bring scale to this art work.
