[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [Spanish]
This sheep is living alone in the mountain. The rest of flock have been sold to be sacrificated as they are not profitable. The sheeps have been replaced by goats (to get milk for cheese).
There are another flocks at 5 km in another mountain and this is the only known source of male to explain the babies.
I'm surprised that this female do not join to the other group. I suppose that she learned about the future of her old community.
The make thing more difficult, there are foxs in this mountain, that hunts lambs, hens, young boat,...
This is a true history from yesterday. The data in this note were told to me by a woman that live in the valley. The hypothesis of why is is still alone is mine.
José M.
PS. Soon I'll post a photo of the mountain.

Hello Jose, this is a very nice family and you were lucky that they didn't run away :)

It must be quite a trek to climb those mountains.

Very well done! Yan :)

Parece que estén posando. La madre mira orgullosa mientras las crías, una a cada lado, miran con curiosidad (vaya patas que tienen); y ello con un fondo de piedra muy apropiado. Magnífica toma.

Un saludo,
Enric.

Beautiful shot José,you were in the right place at right time.Good composition. The story is interesting.
Best wishes,
Acar

Hi, Jose!
Your photographic and verbal story of these cute animalds is very touching. Your sharp focus and perfect colors let me see that this sheep is a strong animal with mimicring rock-like coloring. I hope they will survive!

Nicely composed shot and you captured interesting expressions.
Well done! Alla.

Nicly taken photo! I like the way to cropped it and ofcourse for it's "cute" factor

They are sooo cute ! And I love the story you told in your note, about this family of sheeps. Nice details, colors and composition. Very well done !
Valérie.

Hi Jose, great great picture and wonderful note. They must be difficult to see from afar, as they must blend in well with their surroundings.

Thanks for sharing this photo and story with us.

Marleen

wow,
bonita familia com uma boa composição!
Estão todos a olhar para a foto:)
Boa perspectiva!
Thanks Ana:)

Hello Jose,
I find the way they pose most interesting, with the lambs on each side of the mother..! Very alert, the young ones...
Probably not the easiest shot to make, but you do very well! And I don't think the lambs have to worry about foxes... Mrs Sheep looks like she eats foxes for breakfast!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Woooh, a very beautiful image with these lovely sheep. Very good sharpness.

Una tierna imagen y por lo que se ve una gran madre! La historia que comentas es triste.
Donde esta situada esta montaña?

Buena foto.

Saludos,

Cristina

Hi Jose,

This is a beautiful shot of this little family! I like the composition here against the rugged background and it natural colour.
Excellent shot!

John

How cute!
I'm surprise how the adult fit naturally the background. Perhaps the whool is a natural to hide them in the nature... A little...

Great compo! It's look like a familly. Where is the father :)
Perhaps he was helping you...

Great capture and nice story.
