there was this mountain house abandoned and almost "deleted" by snow...it is easy to be out of scene...it is easy to be forget, it is to be lost, it is easy to desapear... so enjoy still is possible.
There was this mountain house abandoned...and some hours after snow "has made it desapear".

I crop, try to take out the marks of snow raining of the moment,... and converted in B/W.

Hi Teresa,

You were very brave capturing such a cold and desolate scene.
Your composition emphasises the isolation of the mountain house.
A very nice result, under difficult conditions.
My warm regards,
Peter.

Hi Teresa,

A beautiful capture. What a desolate scene. I suppose the house has been shut for the winter? A simple yet very powerful capture.

Hey Teresa,

What a neat photo! Here's a nice song to accompany it... visuals and sounds are so nice when put together correctly. http://hypem.com/track/1f7g5/Bon+Iver+-+Calgary

I love how hard it is to distinguish between the mountain and the thick snowy sky... just looking at this I can feel how cold it must have been... I hope the house survived the snow. :)

Great photo, thanks - have a splendid weekend. :)

Bom dia Teresa,
A sensação de abandono e desolação é das mais fortes que já senti.
Não é a toa que voce goata tanto da cidade de Kafka.
Minhas homenagens,
R.

Hello Teresa.

I feel its barren existance, sometimes you need to go that far to appreciate and take stock.

Love the scene Teresa

Very Nice Teresa, I can feel the cold out there!

This is a super shot teresa, so minimalist but stunning. I like the placing of the house within the shot and the fact that we can only see tne roof and chimney and a few fence posts adds to the feel of the image. I like the fact that we can see some snow still falling, I dont know why you have tried to take that out. Perfect shot for b/w and great addition to the theme.

Teresa,
Wow...stunning shot. So little to see, but so much to say.
Nicely done!

Hello Dear Teresa :)

Very mysterious, winter scenery and this lonely hut among the snow. .
The interesting, beautiful composition in the perfect light.
The very showy shot, I like him.

Best wishes.
Barbara.

Hi Teresa, Bonjour,
Jolie capture en Noir & Blanc, belle présentation au thème,
beau contraste et lumière,
Belle prise de vue et détails de cette maison abandonnée dans la montagne de Valais,
Bonne journée ..Michel

Hello Teresat, the minimalism of this shot is what makes it stand out so much.My eyes roam around the snowy scene but keep coming back to the house, and makes me wonder if it will in fact become totally buried!
I like the inclusion of the fence poles.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Excellent classic composition, I like this minimalist shot and the nearly endless surface of the snow

Brrr! I can't blame the person who owns this house, I would abandon it too with all that snow. I think this is how the people of Boston are feeling today. Excellent composition and I like your idea of converting to B&W. Very well done, tfs.

Bonsoir Teresa
Un mot...Remarquable
Best Regards,Robert :-)

Hi Teresat,
Sure, it should be abandoned cause there is no way to breath and here in desert we always prayer for such snowfall, it is well composed and shot, TFS.
Best Regards,
Musa.

Hi Teresa, I like the way you can just make out the top of the mountain, just breaks up the white a little.I bet its not the first time this place has been buried.Fiona

Hellow Teresa,
Most abandoned image with absolute simplicity but really conveying the message.Well seen and great presentation Teresa.

Hi Teresat...nice shot..you understand so well that less is better...this is nice and artistic. I would try some highlights in the light part of the cloud that are pure white....I like this shot...interesting and something you could look at for a long time.

Bom dia Teresa,

The smooth & subtle tonal range in this superb b&w is eyecatching. An appropriate upload for th 'abandoned' theme. Good sharpness and well composed with the snowbound hut almost buried and positioned on the 1/3 axis. Tfs!

Hi, Teresa. Simple scene with a story. Good POV and composition and exposure to catch the scene braving the cold weather. Cheers.

Cumprimentos,
Lurdes Melo

What a great POV SNOW-WARM
(Never ending hope even in harsh condition… and then there is a invitation by a little house in the snow-prairies)

Hello Teresat,

You are showing well this place by very artistic touch and excellent shade grade, so it's impressive to see the contrast between the clear mountain house with good focus and the blurred surrounding mountain slope and sky with thin gray. And, it's very effective for the ridgeline of mountain and some stakes on snow.

Kind regards,
mikio
