Lutsk is a city and administrative center of Volyn oblast of Ukraine. Lutsk is among the most oldest cities of the country dating back from 1085.

The older part of Lutsk contains the 14th-century Lyubart Castle and a lot of buildings of old architecture. Three monasteries date from the 16th to the 18th century are here in Lutsk.

Great feeling of space and depth, and good choice of B&W. A delightful view. Well done Bernarda.

Beautiful scene. I think it can use a bit more details on the shadow, and a slight cw rotation :)

Ciao Bernarda, great perspective on fascinating architecture, wonderful light and splendid clarity, very well done, my friend, have a good week end, ciao Silvio

Hi Barbara, the cobblestoned street makes a good lead-in and the two persons add scale to the scene , my only niggle is the slight tilt other than that an interesting view down to the castle (?) in the center of your composition , good choice of B&W for this photo i reckon .
I would like it here ,Ukraine is on my list of countries to visit , thank you for sharing and contributing to the theme .

Dear Bernarda,

This is a well taken shot from a wonderful architecture which makes it a nice entry to Friday's theme!
Great details and well caught light with nicely kept exposure and clarity.
The B/W treatment to the picture is well thought and a natural frame is a good decision.
Well done!

Kind regards,
