[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was originally taken as a DOF experiment when I first purchased my Coolpix 8700 (as a rank amateur I have a lot to learn).
The female is a small statue that stand on my window ledge, the background is a candlestick.

Taken in full sunlight it was originally a much bigger, bright, colour picture that I've also experimented post processing as follows:
Cropped, desaturated, colourised, blurred background further, adjusted bright/shadow parts to emphasise her shoulders and to make her face more difficult to see (trying to increase curiosity), added soft focus to statue only, added frame (deliberate overlap of picture and frame at the bottom).

Hope you like it and find my description useful.

Edit: Original uploaded as a workshop (Thanks Zandra)
