[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
As my previous boat shot had created some good feedback and having recently purchased an infrared filter I decided to return to the same location to shoot again to experiment with infrared. I was very pleased with the results and hope you'll share your thoughts to me in your critiques and comments. The exposure for this shot was a massive 240 seconds or 4 minutes at f3.5 ! As the sun began to fall exposures were reaching 12 minutes and light was fading fast and so I returned home to upload and share. I hope your as pleased with the results as I am. Thanks for looking, Matt Stilwell.

Critiques [Translate]

Hi Matthew, Love the shot very different and very surreal.

Job well done!!!

Very nice sky and colors here. Points of critique: 1) The focus is a bit soft. This may create a more surreal image, but it also is a bit distracting. 2) There are some brightness issues you could probably fix in PP. The side of the boat is a bit light, and the wheel (and edges of the photo) is a bit dark. Otherwise, nice job!

quite a romantic image, (*_*)

Those colors are fantastic! I love the effect! If the trailer was not on the picture we could imagine it's a magic place... were boats can fly and landing in the sand! I like the degradee of ligh on it!

couleurs surréalistes mais qui donnent une ambiance à la photo !

Great image matt very moody shot i must check out your other pictures, well done

I am not that good at useful critisism, but I think that the angle is chosen well. Also i know that I like this shot very much, as it silently speaks to us.

This is a very interesting photo. It encourages me to get an infrared filter and experiment myself.

The clouds are fantastic and the composition is excellent.

Danny
