[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
At Fountains Abbey, kids get the opportunity to wear a monk's garb and walk through the Abbey ruins, led by one of the guides or monks. This educational trip seemed very enjoyable as the kids all had smiles on their faces as they walked past the visitors at the Abbey.
This image, taken from RAW convertion to B&W was cropped and levels adjusted to increase contrast, a little dodging & burning to finish off.

Hi Dai,

Interesting shot. Excellent contrast and detail, especially in the stonework. Further experimentation in PP could give a really eerie look to the image and I think you have some good material here if you wanted to go down that route. But this is an unusual and original shot of daily life.

Nice shot Dai. Good presentation in b&w with sharp detail and good tones. Well done! TFS, Lori
