This is Greenknowe Tower in the Scottish Borders, reported by locals to be the most Haunted Tower in the area. The atmosphere round the castle is strange and cold. Every time I have been there the birds seem to fly round the site and never over it, dont know why. I have used the angle of the shot to give the viewer the sence of the height of the tower and then raised the levels slightly.

I was lucky on this day and got a great sky so I have used the burn tool on it, then created several layers using filters, replacing colours and using the channel mixer until I got a spooky looking sky.

I was going to go for the hitchcock look but it was too much and took the eye away from the great textues of the castles brickwork.

Hope you enjoy Andy

Quel dragon va sortie de derrière cette tour?
À la fois très beau et atmosphère étrange.
très bien élaboré

Hitchcok! hi-hi:)
It have got great "graveyard in the beyond" mood. The use of filter is a very very... good idea.
