Yesterday, I showed you some sea urchins. Today, I will show you how you photograph them! Well, not exactly as Suzanne was more interested in catching the little fish that are swimming between the rocks.

Cayman Brac is a giant coral reef. Where you see the waves breaking in the background is the edge of the reef; the depth drops rapidly to hundreds of metres, making this place a paradise for divers.

Hi Pierre,

Excellent capture again, crisp, clear. That water reminds me of Lake Huron. ;) Clean. I see you have a new toy in your hands now, how do you like it.?

It seems to me taht you have enjoyed and all we can do is to wish to be on your place. :)
I swear I haven't read before what Maria said!

Fantastic shot Pierre
The clarity of the image is terrific; it makes me wish i was there at this very moment.
Thanks for sharing this beauty

Hi Pierre,

WOW! That crystal clear water is amazing! Lovely natural lighting and great colours! I see that you really had a fantastic time there... lucky you... :))
Very well done and TFS!

Wonderfull! Not so deep. It remeber me all my teens years living with parents. I were often swiming under water. So i could sometime follw some fish but for aprox 30-40 seconds. It's so relaxing!
Here i enjoy the clarity ogf that scene! Excellent capture!

Salut Pierre,
Cet eau est d'une limpidité sans pareil, j'aime bien ta photo d'action qui nous montre comment prendre de superb photo sous mrine dans un endroit paradisiaque. Très bien réussi.

Excellent effort with this one... did not know sea water can be this clean... well done

Amazing clarity of this very nice shot! The detail of the bottom of the sea is excellent. Lighting and colors magnificent. Well done!

P.S. Thank you for your very kind comments.

Bonjour Pierre

Wonderful snorkelling locale. Tip. Always cover your back when outdoors like this, to prevent sunburn. You will still burn, even in the water. I would now wear an old T shirt. I learned the hard way.

A most baautifil shot.
It looks like hes fly on the water.
You have used a polarizer I think.

I hope she had her sunscreen on! I'm a diver and didn't realise the Caymans were such a popular spot to dive. Now I know.

Great horizontal deep water surface; must be a great place to dive that way. Oh yes I would like being there; just at once, not with all the organizing before and the stress to arrange everything. Over there my brain would be empty and calm in some hours.
I guess...
Thanks Pierre

Escellent.

Oh my gosh, I would have killed you if I had been Suzanne! Not because it's not a great photo with a nice model, but just on principal! :)))

You even managed to create a diagonal! We went snorkelling on Grand Cayman - absolutely gorgeous, just like this.

Gayle :)

Nice capture, Pierre ;o). It's always nice to see another TL member in a picture, and not necessarily in an sp. Did you consider cropping off the sky part entirely ? I don't know, IMO the sky doesn't really add to the shot. Just my opinion, of course.

Wonderful the water refraction, the clarity of the details inside it (rocks, seagrass, body etc.) Nice fish-hunter in there :)) But there was all rocks, no spot of sand - I can see the beach shoes...
Have you ever been to Black Sea? VEry soft and sandy inside the water... :)

The serenity of the location really comes through in this photo Pierre, created by the superb colour tones and textures in the water. The composition is excellent too.

This is a spectacular photo: so bright & so clear. Very well done.

Je trouve que cette photo est mal équilibrée, il aurait fallu couper à partir du bleu et cette photo aurait eu un plus.

what a lovely place...
