A Skyraider performing a flyby at Flying Legends Airshow at Duxford. Its a fantastic airplane with a really distinctive look. Designed in the 40's, and with first flight in 45, it didnt fly in WW2 but became a valuable aircraft in both Korean and Vietnam war.
The Skyraider was built as an attack bomber and was produced in a large number of versions. It could also fold its wings for carrier purposes.
The picture is shot with a 200mm lens with 1.4 extender and without IS or tripod. So Im really surprised I got it this sharp. Ive used ISO400 and 1/1000 shutter, so the noise can bearly be spotted.
