[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was in an old fort in Bermuda and found this plant growing in the middle of rock. Nature sure finds a way to overgrow people's work.
Played a little bit around with the colours - swapped the green leaves and yellow flowers to purple, hope you enjoy it.

P.S. I'll add the original photo tomorrow as a workshop (my limit for today is full)

Yes, Birgit, I liked it; Nature really finds always its way...
I like this perspective and the contrast between the colours, creating a very attractive composition!

Birgit, this is neat how plants can grow from rocks. We have Pines and Cedar growing from rocks, how they get their footing is incredible. Excelent colors with your p.p. work. Sure would like to see the original.
Top left of image, post to workshop, click on it and then browse.
Hope to see it.

Mike

Amazing colors! I don't know how the original looks, but I love it this way. Purple seems the perfect choice to make the strongest contrast.

You know at first I thought this was a purple flower growing in the snow. And my initial reaction was "snow on Bermuda?". I am looking forward to the original. The PP product is very nice.

Good shot! Nice colors!

Esta foto podría ser un símbolo: la naturaleza se abre camino a pesar de que los hombres la contaminamos y destruimos.
Muy buena composición y muy logrado el contraste de colores.

This photo could be a symbol: the nature lays way although the men we contaminated it and we destroyed. Very good composition and very obtained the resistance of colors.

I love the colours in this shot Birgit, you have made them work very well to the extent that it looks like an underwater shot. well done!

very cool. I like the colors and the contrasts created.
the angle is good and your PP is great.
Well done

OK the color realy cuaght my eye, and until I red your note I thought it must be some exotic flower from Bermuda... Good work. I like the way it is framed by the rock.

It's gorgeous Birgit. I think the purple works really well. It is amazing how flowers will grow through just about anything. TFS

Nicely seen and presented.

The colors really pop in this image.

Also I took a look at the original... fine image in its own right.

All the best.

This is a very good creation on the basic idea to highlight the subject.
Very well done, and the quality of the flower is top.
Like your intentions and sure this is good.

Birgit,
These are my daughter's favorite colors...and what's more, as a former botanist/zoologist, I
like the subject. The dof is super, the saturation of colors couldn't be better, and the composition is top drawer! Bravo!
