A powerful portrait, Angela. Not only because of the pose of your model, but there are also the way she is dressed and your post-processing. This near-to-black-and-white-approach really works. Without being a fan of smoothening tools, in this case, I like the contrast between the softness of your daughter's face and the rougness of the rest of the photo: it makes her face (and its expression) really pop out.

Great job in post processing Angela, this kind of technique I want to learn here, I will appreciate if you could share it. Sometimes rules are meant to be broken and you shown us here, indeed nice central composition.
