[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken last week at the great North Run the Red Arrows were performing over South Shields which meant a large part of Northumberland and Tyneside got to see them too. I particularly liked this one as they were coming in with the smoke trails curling in the jet stream.

PP work - cropped in and enhanced brightness/contrast resized for TL.

Reposted with the hue taken out of the sky - marked improvement.

Hope you like it

Yeah, the color on this one is way better! Great job to repost Bri.
I was struck by the original though, how sharp you managed to get the planes - great job on that. I love the composition and the smoke trails .. especially the curly one on the far right.
Great shot Bri.
Trudy

That's a heck of a shot, Brian.
Great stop action, superb composition, excellent sharpness. I like the way the smoke trails curve in contrast to the sharp lines and angles of the planes themselves. That's a cool photograph! Many thanks and kindest wishes,
Shelly

Hi Brian,
I can't see that these arrows/plains are red ! ;-)
The smokey trails are super. Not good for the environment, but great for photography and mankind. Very good compo and light.
TFS.
Joop!

This just looks perfect in my view Brian , nice capture of the smoking trails with the jets well shown and contrasting well against the sky here and they are perfectly aligned and spaced out in a diagonal and also placed in the frame splendidly , an excellent composition , i like this ,
TFS,
Carol

Bonjour Brian.
Très bon point de vue de cette fameuse patrouille rouge.
L’angle de la prise de vue est parfait et donne un bon mouvement.
Bonne journée.
