This was taken 3 or 4 years ago when scrap metal values were so low that you had to pay to have old cars taken away.
The inevitable result was innumerable cars ending up like this in quiet spots.
On this occasion a significant area of heather moorland caught light too although it was soon put out.
Fortunately this is rarely seen these days with old cars worth a few pounds when taken away. |

hi Colin like this shot grt use of rule of thirds here nice colours did you HDR this shot or use some kind of filter to get the effect

The reddish sky matches the vegetation by the derelict. Excellent composition!

One of the BEST HDR shots I've seen in a while on this site! Marvelous tones, the sky is giving you quite a show here. The details in the rocks and grass are amazing! Nice work!
