|This is the small town of Leverburgh at the southern end of the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides. As you look across the bay you can see the outline of Taransay although the weather wasn't very clear that day. The only spot of sunshine was over Leverburgh as we drove down from the mountains in the centre of the island and it seemed the perfect place to stop the car and take afew shots. I have tried to upload a larger image but was unable to - don't know why.|

A lovely view to the valley where these buildings give a wonderful idea of scale within a lovely scenario you have shared through this shot, Joy!
Great colors and nice clarity throughout the picture. I like the gradation of colors from lush green to the gray of the sky when moving from bottom to top in this picture. The sharpness and POv are well chosen.
I did a WS in order to show the maximum format size you can go for your daily posting on TL.
Please don't mind.
Thanks and regards,

A wonderful panorama of this marvelous town with such a glorious landscape!
This really seems like a painting, an artistic postcard of this heavenly place.
Nice soft atmosphere for this natural composition.
Very neat work!
My best regards,

You have really captured the setting of this small town, what lovely views of the bay they all have. The houses look modern
not at all what I would imagine them to be.Your angle for shooting makes for a strong & vibrant composition.
The largest size allowed is 800 pixes, when you attempted to upload a larger image was it larger than the allowed 800? normally a note pops up to inform you the reason you can't download, did this happen ?
Hi Joy...this is a nice scene well captured. Nicely composed with great tones and colors.
