A dull and rainy summer day in July ended with a flash of brightness through the clouds at sunset.
Playing around with 'Topaz adjust' plug-in on this one.

Bom dia Colin
You work in the bordeline of satured colors and hard sharpness...This photo make me to see your galeria...I like all the compositions. interesting scenes and that boderline is realy new to me...I am trying to test my skills in sharpness in photoshop because i do a lot of mistakes.
I want not to loose your photos...i think they may help me and I like your universe.
Very powerful the drama you creat.

Hello Colin,
Your PP-work on color intensity appropriately adds a sens of drama to this scene, as does the use (at least I suppose) of the wide angle. Maybe you even went a little too far with Topaz, as there are some slightly disturbing spots of over-exposure visible on the stones on the foreground.
But this (small) shortcoming is compensated by the mood and the dynamic composition.
TFS & kind regards,

Hello Colin,

A dull day has certainly been enlivened by your pp work. The North Yorkshire Moors have their own wild drama at most times of the year but I do like how you have enriched them with illuminated mosses and heathers.
The clouds add their own style of drama, like giant, swooping birds, perfectly matching the wildness of the land.

My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Well concentrated. BR JV

Hello Colin

Like the view. Very colorful and full if study. Would like to see the rule of thirds in this one though. Still a nice a image.

Hi Colin, The thing that caught my eye first was the clouds across the middle that on my small monitor look a lot like waves rolling in. Great shot. Fiona
