[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is my second experiment with my Tulips, and showing a totally different perspective. I chose a different POV and photographed the flowers on an almost white surface.

For the PP work I upped the highlights to the level I wanted. There were still some shadows on the right side which needed cloning out. Finally I managed to add a double border (thanks to the help of Bev).

A very vibrant and colourful image Joy. Nicely done, and a good sharp focus...

Cheers

Hello Joy,

I like this very much.
It was an interesting experiment to take the flowers against a white b/g; it gives the flowers a 'birthday card' appeal.
I like the way you have composed it, with the open flower strongly positioned and actually facing the viewers.
Great use of the borders. (You managed it well!)

My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Joy
A very successful experiment. Tulips are like a painted. I d'not like the red bar in the frame. I would give a thick white frame.
regards
