[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This old dilapidated fishing boat is no longer seaworthy and now decays in the foreground of Lindisfarne Castle on Holy Island in Northumberland.
So many photo opportunities on the island and this one was a gem just waiting to be snapped up.

I've added a ND graduated filter effect to dampen down the sky as it lacks interest with no cloud on the day. I've also increased saturation very slightly too. This shot works really well as a B&W conversion too, but I've chosen the original colour to upload to TL.

Hi Dai,
I recently read in a photo mag that in landscape photography you should first look for the background and then try and find an interesting foreground - this a great example of that

Full of great things to look !
Great composition .
Good job Dai!

Hello Dai

I like the composition that was put together before you snapped. Everything well placed in the frame. Nice

dynamic sense of balance in this shot as a result of your thoughtful composition. There's also a nice feeling of space that invites the viewer to experience
