Higher obeliscal grave in the Egyptian style, more low Bab al. Siq - sepulchral banquet room already in the nabataeans style. The building is situated on Petra's land.
This building is kind of an opposite "architectura of India" which showed today on TL Paras Bhalla. With juxtaposing the abundance of details, the fine work, with straight lines, forms forged in rock.
Wyżej grób obeliskowy w stylu egipskim, niżej Bab al. Siq czyli grobowa sala biesiadna już w stylu nabatejskim. Budowla znajduje się na terenie Petry.
Ta budowla jest jakby przeciwstawieniem "architectura of India", którą pokazał dzisiaj na TL Paras Bhalla. Przeciwstawieniem mnogości szczegółów, koronkowej roboty, prostym wykutym w skale formom.

Hi Zofia.

I was there a few years ago, you have brought back many memories at seeing this image. Alas some of those are not so good where the little children are trying to sell you gravel outside the Lost City and forced to give any money to the elders.

astounding architecture these building are, to think it was carved out of a hillside. I like the way the light crosses the rock and shows its depth so well. Neat job. tfs

stv ;o))

Hello Zofia,a rare piece of ancient architecture.
Have the edges of some of the features been eroded by the weather?
Your PoV helps us to appreciate the depth of the rooms and the man made sculpting.
Good light management.
Tfs, regards Jean.

A wonderful architecture with amazing focus and clarity, Zofia!

The POV and DOF are well done, and light is very well handled.
Good sharpness and well shown details in this historical architecture.

A good entry to Friday's theme!

Have a nice weekend.
