Just went to Ghubaiba this afternoon and passed by the payloader then i remembered that tomorrow will be Labor Day. This is to give tribute to the laborers who are working hard for their family. Im one of them, I have my family waiting for me in the Philippines, but I need to stay here to give them a better living.
May Day can refer to various labour celebrations conducted on May 1 that commemorate the fight for the eight hour day. May Day in this regard is called International Workers' Day, or Labour Day. The idea for a "workers holiday" began in Australia in 1856. With the idea having spread around the world, the choice of May 1 became a commemoration by the Second International for the people involved in the 1886 Haymarket affair. The Haymarket affair occurred during the course of a three-day general strike in Chicago, Illinois, United States that involved common laborers, artisans, merchants, and immigrants.Following an incident in which police opened fire and murdered strikers at the McCormick Harvesting Machine Co. plant, a rally was called for the following day at Haymarket Square. (wikipedia of course!)
Just some dodge and burns on the details and intensified the color of the sky.
Happy Labor Day! |

I like the use of wide-angle lens to emphasise the size and menacing solidity of this machine. Good placement in the frame with negative space in front of the digger.

Nice use of your wide angle lens and low POV to give a great perspective of this beast. Nice detail and PP work.
