|Emirates International Sand Sculpture Festival is held on the Corniche Abu Dhabi recently. Sculptures were made of sand by various artists, consisting of the name of Abu Dhabi city capital of UAE, the gateway of heritage village, faces of important personalities, arabian horse to name a few. The artists are from Brazil, Belgium, South Africa, Syria, Lebanon and UAE. In this pic. you'll find an artist from UAE, giving final touches to an arabian horse made on sand.|

The pretty composition in pastel colours and gentle light.

While you spotted a good subject, I do think the execution of this shot could have been better. For example, it's crying out for a narrower depth of field. Perhaps you could have opened your aperture up from f/11 to something like f/2.8? Certainly you could then have dropped your ISO to 100 and still had a good quick shutter. That way, the sand sculpture would have been nicely in focus while the background was suitably blurred.
