The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque's design and construction 'unites the world', using artisans and materials from many countries including Italy, Germany, Morocco, India, Turkey, Malaysia, Iran, China, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Greece and United Arab Emirates. More than 3,000 workers took part in the construction of the Mosque. Natural materials were chosen for much of its design, including marble stone, gold, semi-precious stones, crystals and ceramics. Its archways are quintessentially Moorish and its minarets classically Arab. The design of the Mosque can be best described as a fusion of Arab, Mughal and Moorish architecture.

Hi Muhammad,

Well chosen angle and good exposure revealing the details in those colunms and the vast space beyond.
This is really a beautiful work of architecture!

Hi Mohammad,
I like the way you have used the foreground pillars as a vertical frame and then one moves into this absolutely majestic Mosque. The architectural design and shape has really been brought out to perfection, a great piece of camera work.

Muhammad
Framing the majestic building inside the pillars worked very well. Small aperture ensured you get focus throughout which is a must for this photo.

Hope you don't mind, I did a quick workshop to straighten the converging lines.

Hello Muhammad,
You would never have gotten away with less depth of field and you did extremely well here. The whole image speaks of splendour and it is just such a pleasure to look at. Fabulous!
