|I know I'm a little late for the Canadian Thanksgiving (October 11th), but I know it is Thanksgiving Day in The United States today!|
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
Thanksgiving is a holiday celebrated in North America, generally observed as an expression of gratitude. The most common view of its origin is that it was to give thanks to God for the bounty of the autumn harvest.
I knew I'd have a use for these photos someday! They were taken at Jungle Cat World. Jungle Cat World is a wildlife park located on 15 picturesque acres, just 45 minutes north of Toronto. The first photois of the back feathers of the turkey, and the second was his head!

Good show. You are so right about always finding a use for old shots someday. Our harddisks are goldmines of potential collages and postprocessing before that happy moment when you hit the button to post on TL. Good of you to integrate the text in one photo and leave the black space under the smaller photo. Graphically it works better that way.
Nice work Pamela! The detail on the feathers is quite remarkable. What font did you use? - it has a very clean look to it.
I like the colors and details...Excellent work.
Good work, great color and detail in the feathers.

The photos are beautiful, but the animal doesn't seem so happy.
Happy Thanksgiving to you too (despite in Canada it's done).
