I have always been fascinated by all the different textures of animal skin and fur. Each time I go to the zoo I add to my colection of photos, trying to get new animals each time.

I initially was only going to post the skins, but at the last minute decided to add the heads!
I wanted to be more creative, trying something new.

Animals from left to right:
Polar Bear, Giraffe, Elephant

**Post Pro**
Not too much was done actually.
Each photo was cropped to a square, resized to fit one page, and added the lines.

Cool, cool, cool.!!! This is awesome work. Original to the utmost max. WOW!!!
It's in my faves.
Hey, Brampton is my old stompin' grounds.

Mike

Put this in Trek Nature, you'll score big time.

I agree this is extremely original. You should be a graphic designer..

Great Design !!!
I can only say I love it. Well done.

This is excellent - the hides by themselves would have been interesting, too. Nice execution and layout.

very good graphic work...I can feel the texture of the skins of animals ...just merely looking at the photo...

Great work, before scrolling down I tried guessing which animal each skin went to. A very good original idea, well done.

one of the best photo and idea here on tl

Very creative and well executed, Pamela. This would make an excellent wall hanging for the currently popular jungle theme for a home decoration. ...:O)

"I wanted to be more creative.....", but Pamela, you are one of the members, who IS very creative! Also this one, an excellent work with the nice pictures, but also the framing and lines, very creative, very nice done!

Thanks for this beautiful biology-class Pamela.
No critique, just comment : it's elegant, sober, educating and very nicely presented.
My compliments

What I don't like: the grey bands on top of the skins. What I love: all the rest. A very creative composition, and I like the way you kept all those small 'facial' images sharp. TFS.

As Per said recently, "Often less is more..." This simple but elegant design is both graphically pleasing and educational. Not sure about the film strip at the top but that's a very minor quibble.

Excellent, very satisfying composition because of the completeness of it, very, very good indeed!

Could be a photo composition for some animal book. Your last minute idea makes the photo really complete... I know I am late in commenting on this one, but I am a bit behind, due to some private obligations... :)
Well done Pamela, show us more of stuff like this!

I love this, but I also love animal skins, usually in fun fur. Composition, colour and sharpness are great. Your note is also very informative. I would love to try this idea, hopefully it will work for me.
Thanks for sharing,
Liz

Absolutely wonderful, this is so cool and creative

Pamela
I like it much
It is a very beautiful assembly, carefully carried out.
But I cannot prevent myself from thinking of the skin for clothing.
Don't worry, I know that you do not give us a catalogue
Pascal

Your composition is very interesting. It could be a game:) I will try with my little son. Guess what is it?

You have a good graphic style. Good work.

Superbe montage Pamela. J'adore. Le jeu de texture, de peau, de poils, et de couleurs et la référence au dessous, c'est vraiment bien vu. Bravo, Patty.

Very creative, good composition!
I like this a lot. Probably would be useful to show man's skin as well to compare it with animal's skin..
Great!

Very creative indeed. Excellent idea. This would make an excellent poster!

MeAT :)

Hello Pamela - Just came across your creative gallery, which I am enjoying a fair bit. Congratulations on your work!
This collage is different from most, because you designed it so well, and again, in such a very creative fashion. I also like the simplicity of your desgin and the small differences to others, such as the transparent bars (film strips ?) horizontally cutting across the close-ups at the top. Well done and TFS! Cordelia :)))

it is a very artistic shot Pamela, but to my mind, you should not have put the head of the identified animals, and rather put in focus the skins as you orginally though!
Anyway, nice idea!
Tfs;
V.
